1. Material Conveying: Plastic granules are fed into the barrel from the hopper. As the screw rotates, they are pushed forward along the screw channel. The deep screw channel in the feeding section compacts the loose granules, resulting in a stable material flow.
2. Compression and Plasticization: In the compression section, the screw channel becomes shallower, increasing the resistance at the die head and further compacting the material. Heating in the barrel, combined with friction and shearing, softens the plastic into a viscous flow state. By the end of the compression section, the material is completely softened.
3. Homogenization and Extrusion: The homogenization section thoroughly mixes the melt, maintaining a uniform temperature. The screw then extrudes the melt at a controlled rate and pressure into the die head. After forming through the die, cooling, shaping, and traction cutting completes the process, resulting in the finished product.
